It’s that time of the week again and Takeout Tuesday is right around the corner. This has turned into something of a small success, so much so that we are adding a second day. So mark your calendars for Sandwich Saturday. Unlike Takeout Tuesday Sandwich Saturday will be a lunchtime event. We will be open from 12-4 for pick-up only.

Of course we have two new shirt designs to stuff your closet with and create future donations to Goodwill. First is our Hula Night shirt, which I feel has inspired a new event night at Art Boutiki. The other is a social distance shirt by Cerebrin.

Nothing says Art Boutiki better than a shirt with a hula dancer on it. As I typed the name of this shirt I imagine having a Hula Night at Art Boutiki. I will be filing it in the part of my brain that isn’t spent on watching movies and staring at the moon.
At any rate, the standard description applies. The art for the shirt, the drawing of the girl, and the tiki, was commissioned by me to be a poster making this another wholly original design. Printed by us on our own equipment using water-based inks on a high quality 100% cotton T-Shirt.
DESPITE BEING LABELLED AS PRE-SHRUNK, these shirts will shrink over time. Also, the ladies shirt is a fitted cut and runs small, so in ALL CASES please order one size larger than you normally would. See the size charts for more information.
Is it SOCIAL distance, or PHYSICAL Distance? Who knows. What I do know that there are certain times at Art Boutiki when I found myself wishing certain people would stay six feet away from me. Our return to a normal existence will probably be predicated on a no-hug, no-handshake type of interaction for some amount of time.
And, we are fine with that for a bit if it means we can hear some live music on our stage. But there are some people who will test ours, and your, patience. No has always meant no and now STAY BACK means STAY BACK (also, wear a mask, but that’s a different shirt).
