The 13 defenders of Snake Island in Ukraine were commanded to surrender their position by a Russian force or be blown up. Their response? GO F*** YOURSELF!. A truly Effin Shirt CO response, however one that cost the Ukrainians their lives as the Russians followed through and blew them all up. The story is true, what I don't know iis if the Ukrainians had known the Russians planned to slaughter them that they would have reacted the same way. Regardless, it goes down in history alongside NUTS as one of the all-time great military responses to a larger force.
