Playland at the Beach in San Francisco was a seaside amusement park near Ocean Beach and along the Great Highway. The original art for this Playland at the Beach poster came from an old matchbook. After a high-res scan we cleaned up the details, eliminating the silverish background of the original matchbook as well the blue background of the sky and then redoing the text to look good at any size.
