Richard Nixon was an avid bowler. When he became President he had the indoor pool filled in and a bowling alley installed, or so the legend says. This picture is 100% real an was made popular in the movie The Big Lebowski where it hung over The Dude's White Russian bar. Unlike the rug, which was after all just a rug, the picture really did tie the room together.
