Opened in 1958 Trader Dick's underwent a number of remodels and even moved once. Unhappy with what he thought was not only a lack of imagination, but a trademark infringement, Vic Bergeron (of Trader Vic's) sued and lost. The original Trader Dick's decor, which didn't survive the remodeling, closed in 2014 and is now a county\/western themed bar.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe image on this shirt is a combination of imagery taken from a menu and a matchbook and is itself a re-imagining, or perhaps it is a deconstruction.
