Trader Dick's Tiki Bar was located in the John Ascuaga's Nugget Hotel in Sparks, NV just outside Reno. Opened in 1958 Trader Dick's underwent a number of remodels and even moved once. Unhappy with what he thought was not only a lack of imagination, but a trademark infringement, Vic Bergeron (of Trader Vic's) sued and lost. The original Trader Dick's decor, which didn't survive the remodeling, closed in 2014 and is now a county/western themed bar.
The image on this shirt is a combination of imagery taken from a menu and a matchbook and is itself a re-imagining, or perhaps it is a deconstruction. Whatever it is, it's printed on-demand on a 100% cotton t-shirtusing our very own DTG machine.
Our panel of fashion experts have concluded this image looks best on a vintage denim Haves Nano t-shirt. Available in other colors on request.
