The Castaways Hotel Casino and Las Vegas Nevada occupied what is now the center of the Las Vegas Strip. Originally the San Souci Hotel, In 1963, the property became the site of the Castaways Hotel & Casino. The latter experienced financial trouble and was sold and renamed Oliver's New Castaways Casino. During the 1960s, the hotel had a 15,000 gallon aquarium behind the front desk.
Three times a day a show was put on by three naked women in the aquarium. The art on this shirt is taken from an old cocktail napkin. The Castaways logo was scanned, traced and touched up to make for a better looking print at a large size.
The image is printed on a Hanes 100% Ring Spun Cotton T-Shirt (Nano) using our very own DTG (direct-to-garment) machine. Not a screen print or a heat transfer, DTG printers use water-based inks for a soft, natural feel that will hold up in the wash and last a good long time.
