The Art Boutiki

Annnnnnd we're BACK! Sort of.

Just like that we are now back to a near normal state at the Art Boutiki. June 15th brought us back to a place where we can do business as usual with very few restrictions. That would be the good news. The thing is that because we schedule things sometimes MONTHS in advance we will probably not be back to any sort of normal routine until early fall at best.

That being said though, we are now allowing live audiences into our streaming shows which will continue on twice-per-week. This past Saturday marked the most people who have been in Art Boutiki since the start of lockdowns. And with that, we have a very super-cool show coming up on June 23rd that you should make your first show back in case yo uhave not been out yet, or at minimum grab a streaming ticket for when piano Maestro JODAVI brings his soul and R&B show into our space.

Often referred to as “Mr. Maestro,” JoDavi fuses his soulful roots with his passion and schooling in orchestration to create what many call “Cinema-Soul;” a sound that likens to the Motown greats, your favorite movie soundtrack, and his background in gospel, RnB, and funk.

As a singer-songwriter JoDavi has opened for grammy award winning artists

India Arie, and Anthony Hamilton. He has also backed renowned singer Alex Isley, and has shared stages with Jeremy Passion. As far as his own work goes, JoDavi has released over a dozen albums and singles, including his chamber album, The Temple EP, and his first EP as a solo artist, And And And And.
Check out the short preview below and then grab a ticket, either for our high-quality live show (free) our as part of our studio audience ($20). Both tickets can be found at this link.
