At the requests of the artists and musicians and artists our shows with Mira Goto and The Bell Brothers (3/14) and The Daddios Big Band (3/15) have been postponed and will be rescheduled to a later date. Ticket buyers for those events should check their email box for details.

This Friday’s show featuring Wally Schnalle’s Idiotfish and Kate Dunton’s TrioKate will go on as planned and everything we have on the schedule for next week is going to go on as planned.

Rest assured that Art Boutiki takes what is going on in the world seriously. While we are taking and redoubling every effort to stay safe and sanitary Art Boutiki staff have ALWAYS washed their hands, in particular the ones who prep food here all have SafeServ Certifications which are a higher level of food handler certification that your average Starbuck barista needs.

Likewise I have NEVER EVER asked a sick employee to come to work and always send people home when they are not feeling well. Not to brag but I was sneezing into my armpit before it was the thing to do because, come on man, not doing that is gross.

I plan on being sensitive to the chaos going on around us, and if asked to close I will close. I am not strong-arming anyone into coming and playing a show if they do not feel comfortable. However I also need to do whatever I can do to stay open in the long term. So if you don’t feel comfortable coming here, then please stay home. If you do come out please be respectful and mindful of the people around you and if you feel ill at all in the least bit understand you are not doing us or anyone else any favors by coming to our place.
